Dr. Jay Markson, M.D.

Dr. Jay Markson joined Children’s Medical Center in 1985. Dr. Jay, a native of Denver, graduated from George Washington High School. He attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, where he received his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology.  He completed his Pediatric Residency at The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Upon completing his residency, he served as a camp doctor in Pennsylvania.

He is married, has two grown sons, and a beautiful Boston terrier. He also became a proud grandfather to his first grandchild in 2020.  Dr. Jay likes to play tennis, bicycle, and read. He is proficient in Spanish.
