The intent of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplaces is to allow people to compare options and choose the type of insurance plan that will work best for their family. Public health programs like Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) will still be available. One streamlined application will make it easier for people to find out which plan will best meet their needs.
While Children’s Medical Center wants your child to have the most affordable access to quality health care, we are not able to help you choose the specific plan that best meets your family’s need. Insurers are not required to inform providers of all plan changes, we recommend always checking with your new plan to ensure they show CMC as a participating provider.
