Children’s Medical Center has always been a proponent of advancing pediatric knowledge within a practice setting. To that end, CMC, has been actively involved with several research projects:

Children's Medical Center Research

Some of Our Projects

Since 2012, we have been working with Dr. Sean O’Leary at Children’s Hospital Colorado in a study designed to enhance immunization rates among adolescents.

Also in 2012,  we have been part of a study by Dr. Eric Samoes at Children’s Hospital Colorado that will lay the groundwork for an oral treatment medication for RSV that may be available as early as 2014 in the United States.

One other study involved Dr. Anna Hoffenberg of University of Colorado Hospital examining drug use among adolescents.

CMC is also part of the COCONET organization that is a research group among practices that looks to do studies that will benefit our patients.  Look for our own, Jump for Life, project to be expanded to this group of practices that are potentially interested in seeing how it might help address the lack of physical activity and poor nutrition in their own practices.

CMC has always been more than a sum of its parts.  Research just adds to the value of CMC. We thank all of the families that have been part of this endeavor.
