Dr. Cecil H. Lashlee III, known as “Dr. Bud” joined Children’s Medical Center in 1989.
Dr. Bud was born in Louisiana to parents with a strong southern heritage. His family (parents and two sisters) moved to Cincinnati, where they lived until he was fifteen years old. They then moved to Brussels Belgium, where Dr. Bud went to high school. Eventually, he received a B.A. in Philosophy from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
He moved to Colorado in 1977 and shortly thereafter, he met Dr. Amer and became interested in medicine and in particular pediatrics. He finished medical school and his pediatrics residency at the University of Colorado.
Dr. Bud has three children. His main loves (besides his family and Children’s Medical Center!!) are running, hiking, biking, fly fishing, and old BMW 2002s (1968-1974). Dr. Bud loves his job at Children’s Medical Center, and is honored to be entrusted with the care of children.
