Dr. Bud’s Farewell Letter
I am both sad and sorry to tell you that, for personal reasons, I am resigning from Children’s Medical Center effective Monday Nov 11, 2019. I apologize for the abrupt nature of my departure, but am so grateful for the time I have had with all of you these 30 years at CMC.
Much has changed in the world and in medicine, since I started my career, but patient care has always been my priority. I cannot express to you all how appreciative and honored I have been to be entrusted with the care of your children. I apologize for the times when it may have seemed like I could have done more to help, and I thank you for allowing me to be a part of so many sometimes difficult, but often wonderful moments with you and your children. While I have no definite plans after leaving CMC, I will think about you often, and will truly miss you more than I could ever express.
So again, I am both sad and sorry to leave, but my partners will remain and will continue to provide the same excellent pediatric care for your children, in the long tradition of Children’s Medical Center.
