We now have both Flumist and injectable Influenza vaccines for ALL insurance carriers.
Here is a Late Breaker from Children’s Hospital Colorado: “Sporadic cases of influenza have already been confirmed here, at the CDPHE Laboratory, and nationally in the past few weeks! We don’t know yet if these cases signify an early start to the upcoming flu season, but all eligible persons should get their influenza vaccine as soon as possible. The CDC tells us that the influenza viruses characterized from similar sporadic U.S. and global cases are well-matched to strains in the 2015-16 influenza vaccine, so vaccine efficacy should be good”.
