Home/Immunization/Flumist and Injectable Flu vaccine available for ALL Insurances

Flumist and Injectable Flu vaccine available for ALL Insurances

We now have both Flumist and injectable Influenza vaccines for ALL insurance carriers.

Here is a Late Breaker from Children’s Hospital Colorado: “Sporadic cases of influenza have already been confirmed here, at the CDPHE Laboratory, and nationally in the past few weeks! We don’t know yet if these cases signify an early start to the upcoming flu season, but all eligible persons should get their influenza vaccine as soon as possible. The CDC tells us that the influenza viruses characterized from similar sporadic U.S. and global cases are well-matched to strains in the 2015-16 influenza vaccine, so vaccine efficacy should be good”.

See News Post listing September & October Flu Clinic dates

Please read more about Influenza in our Vaccine section at:  Influenza (Flu) Vaccination

Both the Flumist and injectable influenza vaccine are quadravalent – meaning they protect against two A strains and two B strains. Flumist can be given to children 2 years and older.

Contraindications for Flumist  Live Attenuated Influenza Vaccine (LAIV).

Flu shots for parents are also available for a cash price of $45.  Parent Consent Form for Flu Vaccination  Please let our Check-In Receptionist know, prior to your child’s appointment, if you would like to receive one
