Influenza vaccinations for the 2013-2014 season are now available at Children’s Medical Center. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that a child receive the Flu vaccine as soon as the vaccine is available to them. Children < 9 years who are being vaccinated for the first time for influenza require a booster dose 1 month after the first (another good reason to start early in the season).
In preparation to meet the needs for mass vaccinations of all of our eligible patients, we have started to confirm dates for our annual Flu Clinics at CMC. More will be scheduled in the near future. Please review the current dates below and call the office to schedule your family’s flu vaccine. Flu shots for parents are also available for a cash price of $35.
