How To Schedule An Appointment on MyChart

It’s a fast and easy way to book an appointment online without having to pick up the phone, and we encourage everyone to use it. Here’s how it works:

From your child’s MyChart homepage you can schedule an appointment by clicking the “schedule an appointment” icon at the top of the page or by using the menu in the top left corner.

You will be prompted to select the type of appointment:

    • Well Child Check – use to schedule routine well visits to assess growth, development, and vaccines. Scheduling opens 3 months in advance.
    • Medication Check – use to schedule with your child’s PCP to review their medications (typically for asthma or mental health medications). Scheduling opens 3 months in advance.
    • Follow up/evaluation – use to schedule with your child’s PCP for long standing conditions. Scheduling opens 3 months in advance.
    • Sick visit – use to schedule acute illness symptoms including things such as colds, fevers, pain/injuries, hospital or ER follow ups. These appointments become available for scheduling 1 day in advance.

If you select to schedule a sick visit, you will then be presented with a list of symptoms that, if present, could indicate a more urgent scheduling need and you will be directed to call the office to speak to a nurse.

If you select “None of these” the next screen will take you to a series of questions about the duration of your child’s symptoms as well as further clarification about the type of symptoms they are presenting with. This helps us ensure you are given an appointment for the appropriate length of time.

Once you have answered the rest of the clarifying questions, you will be presented with an option of open appointments that you can select from to finalize scheduling.

    A few reminders:

    • For Saturday clinic, patients will be seen by the first available provider regardless of the provider they schedule with.
    • Not all open appointments are on MyChart, so if you are having trouble scheduling then please call us at 303-830-7337 for assistance.
    • We do review appointments scheduled on MyChart and may be contacting you if we feel a different scheduling option is more appropriate (for example chronic concerns and behavioral concerns are typically best addressed by your PCP).
