After Hours Triage
If you are concerned that your child requires urgent medical attention after hours, please call us first to evaluate your situation and make a recommendation for medical care.

After hours calls are first triaged by the Children’s Hospital Colorado After Hours Call Center nurses. If they are concerned that your child needs immediate care, your call is forwarded to the on-call pediatrician for further guidance. We strive to provide advice to care for your child at home whenever possible.
Our doctors take call from their homes at night and on weekends, so we kindly ask that you reserve our after hours services for urgent matters only. Calls that necessitate the expertise of a physician may result in a bill to your insurance.
Please do not call after hours to schedule appointments or request refills. Appointments and refill requests should be scheduled or submitted through MyChart.
