CMC Response to Current Recommendations

  • CMC has made some changes to our clinic flow in order to continue to serve both our sick and well populations through these unpredictable times.
  • Sick patients are being instructed to enter our main entrance and check in as usual.  The sick patients are being checked in and roomed as soon as possible to reduce the amount of time in the waiting rooms. We are asking those patients to leave through our alley door to keep all of the North side of the clinic the sick area. CMC is not testing for COVID 19, therefore, we are triaging patients that need to be tested to visit an appropriate community test site.
  • The well patients, this includes well child checks, medication checks and injuries, are being asked to enter and exit through our glass exit door on the south west side of the clinic. The well patients will be checked in at the treatment room in the back of the clinic and be roomed as soon as possible.
  • Our Medical Assistants are being assigned to a sick or well side to reduce exposures. All of our check in and clinical staff are wearing masks to protect ourselves and our patients. Please contact our office if you have any questions.
  • We will continue to try and keep our families updated via our website and your MyChart accounts. If you do not have a MyChart account please call the office and sign up. This provides a secure way to schedule appointments, see past visits, printing of all forms and secure messages to our office including refills. Please remember online messaging is for non-urgent items only, these messages are not checked in the evenings or on weekends. Please call the office if you have an urgent/emergent matter, our phones roll to Children’s Hospital nurses and we have an on call provider.
